Holy Land Foundation: Part Deux (The Retrial)

And, so, the Holy Land case is being retried. For those of you who recall, this was the case concerning the Holy Land Foundation – the charitable organization accused of being a front for and financing the militant wing of Hamas – where the judge declared a mistrial after the jury was submerged in an overwhelming amount of evidence. View here for full story on the mistrial and retrial.

This has been dubbed “the largest terror financing prosecution in history”…but so far the government reportedly has presented essentially the same case. Let’s hope they’ve used their trial practice skills.
